Position: Catering Assistant

Location: 50 Marmaduke Street, Hull, HU3 3BH

Contract: 28 hours per week - Days (rotating schedule including weekend work)

Pay: £12.71 per hour

CQC Rating: 'Good'

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef with basic food preparation.
• Keep the kitchen clean and tidy, including washing up, cleaning freezers and mopping floors.
• Clean and sanitise all tableware.
• Understand people's needs, likes and choices to help the Chef develop suitable menus.
• Interact with the people we support to gather feedback on meals.
• Comply with food hygiene standards.
• Be an effective team player, working as part of the wider Catering Team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant experience and qualifications are valued but not essential.
• Strong interest in food and drink preparation.
• Understanding of food hygiene and high personal hygiene standards.
• Excellent team player skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
