Catering Assistant

Location & Contract

Ammanford, Permanent Term Time Only - 15 hours per week (3 hours per day), Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks).

Salary

£25,949 per annum (including Real Living Wage Supplement). Hourly rate £13.45 (including Real Living Wage Supplement).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook in preparing nutritious and appetising meals.
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety.
• Set up and clear tables and perform general cleaning duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to assist with other catering duties.
• Basic knowledge of food safety - training provided.
• Basic conversational Welsh (Level 2) - reasonable support available.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Required: An Enhanced With Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Eligibility
