Salary: NJC Grade 2 SCP 3 £24,796 (pro rata £15,523)

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Part Time: 27.5 hours per week, Term time only

Location: St Andrews CofE School, Worthing

Interviews: To be arranged following shortlisting.

What You Need to Succeed

This is an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to work within our busy Catering Team preparing food for pupils of both primary and secondary age (4-16). Duties will include:

  • Food preparation
  • Stocking up
  • Clearing away
  • Cleaning
  • Operating the till

Experience of working within a kitchen or catering environment is desirable, but full training will be given.

Key qualities:

  • A passion and flexibility to work as part of a productive team
  • A willingness to learn new skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and relate well to young people
  • Passion for catering, relish variety in role, thrive on busy environment
  • Optional: Full UK Driving Licence for delivering/serving food at external catering sites
