Job Introduction

Our award winning school meals are delivered across the Solihull borough. We need a Catering Assistant for our bank catering team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving healthy, award winning meals prepared from locally sourced, high quality ingredients.
• Perform basic food preparation and set the dining room for service.
• Maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Operate the cashless till system.
• Carry out cleaning duties.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Level 2 Food Safety qualification, or willingness to obtain it within 12 months of service.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, enthusiasm and self motivation.
• Enhanced DBS check with a barred list check for working with children.
• Fluency Duty as outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers.
