Job Description

Shoes Category Team is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative candidate to join as a Catalog Specialist. This position offers an exciting introduction to the Amazon Marketplace and provides a training ground for success.

You will primarily be responsible for driving increased catalog data quality and solving challenging operational business goals. You will utilize data and develop creative processes to improve the program team's performance. You will work directly with program management teams to develop scalable, long-term solutions that will have a significant impact on internal and external stakeholders.

Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is a self-starter, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams, partners, and management. The candidate should have a track record of delivering results, experience processing large amounts of data, and report generation & management. The candidate should communicate clearly and use data to inform stakeholder interactions. The ability to resolve issues with minimal guidance is essential.

A successful candidate will enjoy working with business intelligence tools, be comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and partner with the business to identify strategic opportunities and deliver results. The key responsibilities and expectations include:

  1. Create metrics and performance dashboards to measure KPIs
  2. Drive root cause analysis and propose data-driven solutions
  3. Engage with cross-functional teams for project implementation and troubleshooting
  4. Manage multiple projects and initiatives
  5. Communicate effectively at all levels, presenting information professionally and concisely with supporting data

The key job responsibilities involve:

  • Resolving catalog variation issues
  • Addressing catalog issues highlighted by the category team, such as title updates, attribute updates, size chart updates, etc.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to improve catalog quality
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
