General Kitchen Assistants needed. Flexible school-based work in Bridgend County Borough. Working as part of a friendly catering team with weekday hours that fit around family and social life.

What We're Looking For

• Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (training can be provided if required)
• A positive and reliable approach to work
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Understanding of hygiene and Health & Safety procedures
• Willingness to work across schools within the county borough
• Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check required

Main Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and presentation
• Serving meals to pupils and staff
• Maintaining a safe, clean kitchen and dining environment
• Laying out dining tables and chairs
• Operating a touch screen till system where required
• Supporting kitchen hygiene and Health & Safety standards
• Assisting catering staff with day-to-day duties
