We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team at Fermain Valley Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Responsibilities

The Kitchen Porter plays a key role in maintaining a smooth day to day kitchen operation. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining immaculate hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, cleaning of equipment, and ensuring back of house areas are organised and well presented.
• Supporting chefs by ensuring that equipment, utensils, and service items are clean, available, and ready for use at all times.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
• Monitoring waste disposal and adhering to strict health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Supporting stock organisation and deliveries.
• Contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen, helping the team deliver seamless service while upholding hotel standards.

This is a casual contract requiring a variety of shifts, including weekends. Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.

Qualifications
