Based at City Football Academy in Manchester, this casual role gives you the opportunity to support Manchester City Football Education through goalkeeper coaching that is engaging, well-structured and focused on player development. You will help create a positive learning environment while building your experience with support from senior coaches.

The RoleIn this casual goalkeeper coaching role, you will support the preparation, delivery and review of sessions aligned to the Manchester City coaching curriculum and methodology. You will work with goalkeepers of different ages and abilities, creating an environment that is positive, professional and focused on development.
You will deliver goalkeeper-specific sessions at City Football Academy in Manchester, and contribute to player, team and coach development programmes. You will also support some classroom delivery for UK and international participants, bringing a clear and engaging approach to every session.
Goalkeeper coaches who are confident leading sessions for outfield players are also encouraged to apply. You will benefit from full training in the Manchester City coaching methodology and development pathways, while contributing to a team environment that values high standards, collaboration and positive participant experiences.
What You'll Bring- Minimum UEFA C or equivalent coaching qualification
- Recognised goalkeeping qualification
- Experience coaching in education, community or club settings
- A relevant higher education qualification, or equivalent professional experience
- Commitment to ongoing CPD, including safeguarding awareness and DBS compliance
- Clear and effective communication skills with coaches, players, parents and stakeholders
