Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Cashier to join our team at Chepstow School, Chepstow, NP16 5LR. This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly and customer-focused individual to support a busy school catering operation during break and lunch service periods.

What you'll be doing

• Operating tills and processing customer transactions accurately
• Serving pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner
• Supporting breaktime and lunchtime catering services
• Maintaining a clean and organised service area
• Replenishing stock and assisting with service preparation
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider catering team as required

Qualifications

About you

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy school environment
• Good attention to detail and cash-handling accuracy
• Previous customer service or catering experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

• Successful candidates will be required to complete all school safeguarding and vetting requirements prior to commencing employment.
