Our divisional heads will then email your CV internally to the consultant who specialises in your exact sector, for example a category of packaging is cartons, a category of print is print management, in fact we have over 30 specialist categories. Our specialist consultant will contact you if we have a live vacancy that matches, or contact you in the near future as soon a good match to skill set and experience becomes available.
This market leading packaging company seeks an experienced folder gluer operator or team leader. More details are as follows:
Responsibilities for Team Leader role:- Demonstrable Team Leader or Lead Operator experience
- Passionate about results and fundamental belief in Health & Safety, Quality, performance and training
- Commercial awareness of the cost of waste, machine utilisation and absenteeism etc
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Desire to lead the Team and support individuals
- Self motivation with the ability to think individually with well reasoned decision making qualities
- Ability to be the link between the Management Team and Shop Floor Team
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to challenge
- Flexibility in both thought and action, offering proactive, creative solutions and improvements
- Set up, make ready and run folder Gluer machines (ideally Bobst, Heidelberg / Jagenberg or Signature), including Glue detection and code reader QA systems
- Maximising efficiencies whilst following the company's quality systems and procedures
- Carry out daily cleaning and routine maintenance of machines and work area
