Job Description

Caretaker

Salary - £24,294 - £25,979 (Grade 4)

Hours - 37 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days (Monday to Sunday), covering varied shifts between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm

Contract type - Full-time, permanent

Work Style - Field: working in communities across the city

We are seeking an experienced Caretaker / Handy person to provide quality caretaking services to corporate buildings across the City of Wolverhampton. The role involves general maintenance and cleaning duties, responsible for opening/closing/security of buildings, and conducting statutory compliance checks. Flexibility is required as shifts vary.

We look for someone with excellent written, verbal, and communication skills, and experience in repairs and maintenance. The successful candidate must follow management instructions and handle sensitive issues confidentially.

Uniforms and training will be provided. This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Check.
