Job Title: Caretaker (Enhanced DBS Required)

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire

Pay Rate: £20 - £23 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a dependable and proactive Caretaker to support a welcoming setting in Berkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone hands-on and practical who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance tasks and minor repairs across the site
• Ensure the security of the premises, including opening and locking up
• Monitor health & safety standards, promptly reporting any concerns
• Assist with room setups, including moving furniture when required
• Liaise with contractors and site/school staff as necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caretaker, facilities, or estates role
• Strong practical skills with the ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Enhanced DBS certificate is essential
