Accordingly, we are looking for an inspiring, knowledgeable, committed and experienced Education & Wellbeing Officer to join our Care Farms Team.

Reports to: Care Farm Manager

Salary: £19,755.98 to £20,605.54 (experience-dependent) (40 Week Salary includes Holiday Pay)

Contract: Permanent Term time (40 weeks)

Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday - Thursday)

Based at: The Willows Care Farm and Cherry Lodge Care Farm

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is a leading conservation charity in the UK and has an excellent reputation for both improving people's wellbeing through engagement in and with nature, and working to create a future where wildlife and people flourish in harmony. This ethos is the basis of our Alternative Provision and has proved successful at our Care Farms since 2016. Accordingly, we are looking for an inspiring, knowledgeable, committed and experienced Education & Wellbeing Officer to work at both The Willows Care Farm (Melksham) and Cherry Lodge Care Farm (Shrewton). The post holder will work two days per week at each Care Farm (Monday & Tuesday - The Willows / Wednesday & Thursday - Cherry Lodge).

Working alongside the Head of Care Farms, Care Farm Managers and our experienced and diverse staff team, the post holder will be responsible for leading the daily delivery of one-to-one nature-based therapeutic activities for children, young people and adults with complex and additional needs, mental ill-health, social and communication difficulties, and those in need of emotional support. Experience of working one-to-one with children and young people with complex and diverse needs is essential, as is an understanding of person-centred practice and the use of nature, animals and creativity to support the holistic education of the children and young people with whom we work.
