Looking for flexible weekend care work close to home?

MPA Recruitment is recruiting experienced Care Assistants for nursing homes, residential homes and day care settings across the Ballymena, Larne and Antrim areas.

You will support adults with a range of additional needs, working alongside care teams and nursing staff where appropriate to deliver a high standard of person centred care.

Full time and part time hours are available, including flexible weekend shifts, with immediate starts available subject to satisfactory checks.

Pay: £12.71 to £22.34 per hour, depending on the shift and applicable enhancements.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing personal care while respecting each individual's dignity and privacy
• Assisting with meals and drinks
• Promoting independence and supporting individual choices
• Providing support with mobility in line with care plans and training
• Helping maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment
• Offering companionship and reassurance
• Communicating effectively with service users and the wider care team
• Reporting changes in wellbeing or concerns to the appropriate member of staff

What We Are Looking For

• At least six months' experience in a similar care role
• NISCC registration or willingness to apply
• Willingness to complete required training
• Willingness to undergo an AccessNI check
• A caring, reliable and professional approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills

A Health and Social Care qualification is desirable.
