Care Assistant

Search Consultancy is seeking experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to join our expanding agency team across Lanarkshire.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in a range of care environments. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, wellbeing, and dignity while supporting service users to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support in a variety of care settings.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities while promoting independence and choice.
• Support individuals to achieve their personal goals and maintain their overall wellbeing.
• Encourage participation in meaningful activities, hobbies, training opportunities, volunteering, and community engagement.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate care records and work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure excellent standards of care.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of

6 months' experience in a care or support role.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, compassionate, and respectful approach to supporting others.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently manage challenging situations.
• A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care and promoting independence.
• The legal right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
