The hospital offers specialist-led services including orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, anaesthesia & analgesia, cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, neurology, emergency and critical care. ResponsibilitiesLondon Vet Specialists (LVS) are recruiting a board-certified veterinarian in small animal cardiology to join our multi-disciplinary team of specialists. You will be committed to developing the hospital and providing high standards of care to both our patients and referring veterinary surgeons. You must be able to work as a team as well as independently, supporting our clients, patients and clinical teams in a busy practice. This is a rewarding and challenging role that will require teamwork and dedication.
- You will be a leader, providing high quality patient care and contributing to the future strategic growth of the service
- Provide clinical services as a cardiology consultant
- Work collaboratively with all other services and foster good relationships
- Undertake supervision of our discipline specific and rotating interns
- Demonstrate professional standards that will advance patient care
- Be an ambassador for the team
- Membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (or eligible to become a member)
- Successful completion of a recognised ECVIM (cardiology) or ACVIM (cardiology) residency programme
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills and professional approach
- Provide evidence of your Right to Work in the UK
- Ability and passion to help develop and shape a growing service
- Desire to provide the best clinical service to all our patients
