Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Touring Caravan Engineer to join our fantastic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing touring caravans and motorhomes, with a strong focus on customer service, safety, and attention to detail.
You will be responsible for performing habitation checks, mechanical servicing, fault diagnostics, and fitting a wide range of accessories, both at our workshop and on-site via our mobile service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full caravan and motorhome service habitation checks
Inspect, diagnose, and repair gas, electric, water, and heating systems
Service chassis, brakes, and running gear
Detect and treat damp, seal windows and roofs
Fit accessories (e.g., motor movers, solar panels, aerials)
Complete and file service reports and compliance paperwork
Provide excellent customer service and explain work carried out
Requirements:
Proven experience in caravan or motorhome servicing (minimum 1 year preferred)
Knowledge of 12V, 240V, gas systems, and plumbing
Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile work)
NCC Approved Workshop qualification or ACOPS (desirable)
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
