What is the RoleThe Credit Portfolio Management Unit in Capital Markets is responsible for providing independent oversight of the credit portfolio with regards to credit management standards and monitoring and oversight in relation to Data Governance. We act as a key interface between the Capital Markets business teams and core enterprise functions, including Data, Risk and Financial Reporting.
Key accountabilities- Play a key role in the design, build and maintenance of the Capital Markets portfolio reporting suite ensuring alignment with BCBS 239/RDARR governance.
- Participate in enterprise wide strategic technology and data initiatives.
- Collaborate with Model Operators and IFRS9 teams to support the Capital Markets Model infrastructure.
- Help drive delivery of solutions through strong collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset to the Business Operations & Enablement function to support iterative process improvement across the function.
- Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders in representing the Capital Markets data and reporting frameworks and associated projects / initiatives.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in data management and/or portfolio reporting, with proven and relevant experience in building data solutions.
- Knowledge of Lending / Credit in a wholesale banking environment.
- Experience of internal stakeholder management at senior levels.
- People management experience including effective management of teams as well as experiencing managing across teams and/or partner firms.
- Proven capability to deliver data / reporting solutions.
