Job Title: Capacity & Supply Chain Analysis Manager
This position has now been filled, but has been left on our website as we have other similar vacancies to this on an ongoing basis that might interest you. More importantly, we have vacancies that are not advertised due to their confidential nature therefore it would certainly be in your interest to email your CV, as a word document, depending on which sector you are in, to :-
Head of Packaging recruitment - Greg Nelson -
Head of Print recruitment - Neil Pearson -
Head Paper recruitment - Gary Young -
Board level, account management and all levels of sales vacancies -
Our divisional heads will then email your CV internally to the consultant who specialises in your exact sector, for example a category of packaging is cartons, a category of print is print management, in fact we have over 30 specialist categories. Our specialist consultant will contact you if we have a live vacancy that matches, or contact you in the near future as soon a good match to skill set and experience becomes available.
This Packaging World Leader seeks an experienced Capacity planning & Supply Chain Analyst who will be responsible for minimising the risk of stock outs and letting customers down. In order to do this you will have an understanding of the drivers for maximum capacity and the usage of that capacity. You will be experienced in optimising the efficient use of that capacity and will be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving optimal use of capacity, ideally within a solid board or corrugate packaging manufacturing operation. You will also have experience and understanding of the drivers and interdependency between the supply chain and capacity. For example, if a new market is to be opened up in a new sector, what are the consequences of bringing in that new volume on capacity or if a new piece of machinery is acquired, what will be the capacity gain for such a purchase. Crucially, you will not just be a "number cruncher". You will take ownership of Capacity Management and be responsible for delivering the best use of that capacity to the benefit of the customer.
