Department Summary
What does a Campaign Manager do at Hogarth?
Our Campaign Managers (CMs) are super-organised and adept multi-taskers. They are accountable for end-to-end project delivery, delivering projects on time, on specification and on budget. Our CMs possess good project and client management skills and best-practice methodology. They are the key contact for projects, responsible for relaying timing, scope, budget, resource and change information to the wider project and production teams.
To thrive in this role, you will be highly organised with a passion for delivering top tier client service and have a strong personal desire to continually grow and develop your skills. You'll be experienced in client servicing and have a background in localisation of moving picture and digital.
Reporting lines and key stakeholders
This role reports into a Senior Campaign Manager.
There will be close collaboration with all teams across the client account including a network of freelancers and other agencies the client appoints for different stages of their advertising materials production.
Responsibilities
- The key day-to-day contact for the client & their agencies across Moving Image projects (inclusive of broadcast, digital and social production)
- Own regular status updates and communications with clients
- Define scope and approach, setting and managing expectations
- Understand client's needs to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Ensure awareness of timelines and deliverables on projects
- Ensure a clear understanding of the production brief, deliverables and timeline for each project
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills with internal agency teams and key external partners to ensure quality and adherence to production guidelines
- Manage small to medium projects independently, from initiation through to completion
- Work with cross-functional teams in a time sensitive agency environment
- Manage client objectives, budget, expectations, deliverables and timelines
- Keep projects on track through clear task lists, timing schedules, risk register, trackers, status and contact reports, communicating any changes to relevant parties
- Identify potential project risks and if needed, escalate to SAM/SCM
- Liaise with all relevant parties to obtain schedules, briefs, assets, technical specificationsetc
- Prepare cost estimates for Campaign Lead approval & record details on internal trackers
- Own project budget and tracking of all ongoing costs throughout project lifecycle, reconcile estimates to actuals on all projects, and resolution of budget discrepancies between disciplines, vendors and clients
- Manage POs, financial reporting, tracking, billing against all project budgets
Requirements:
- Experience managing international accounts in 5+ markets with multiple stakeholders
- An understanding of marketing and production implementation processes across key channels such as TV, social, print, digital etc
- Understanding of the production and the creative development process, content production, technology, quality assurance testing and marketing methodologies
- Ability to manage small projects with varying components, demonstrable ability to deliver on time and on budget
- Experience of managing client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring flawless execution and delivery
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint / Keynote, wireframing / workflow tools, online project management / collaboration / ticketing tools e.g. JIRA, Smartsheet, Trello, Miro etc
