Our client is growing their team and looking for a CAD Designer for their team.

Job Role: CAD Designer

Location: Office-based

Salary:

• Junior Designer: Up to £32,000 (DOE)
• Mid-Weight Designer: Up to £38,000 (DOE)
• Senior Designer: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative design team working on impactful retail projects. The role is office-based and ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing using SolidWorks and Adobe Suite
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet tight deadlines
• Prepare and set up artwork files for production
• Apply practical knowledge of woodwork, metalwork, and plastics
• Respond quickly to changing project requirements
• Contribute positively to team dynamics and project outcomes

Requirements

• Degree or apprenticeship in Design, Engineering, Product Design, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of materials including wood, metal, and plastics
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience or knowledge in setting up artwork for production
• Excellent time management and adaptability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience Levels

• Junior Designer: Minimum 3 years' experience
• Mid-Weight Designer: Minimum 5 years' experience
• Senior Designer: Minimum 8 years' experience
