Buyer - Automotive Industry - Permanent Role

On behalf of one of our clients, a major international player in the automotive sector, we are currently looking for a Buyer to support both strategic and operational purchasing activities within a fast-paced and innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing processes for a defined category or program in a regional/moderate context.


• Support the development and implementation of purchasing strategies.


• Contribute to sourcing activities: supplier selection, RFQs, negotiation, and decision-making processes.


• Conduct or support contract negotiations with low-volume suppliers.


• Monitor supplier performance and help implement corrective actions when necessary.

Profile & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.


• 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing role, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing industry.


• Strong technical understanding or background is highly valued.


• Good knowledge of global supplier markets and procurement practices.


• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.


• Fluent in English; German and/or French is a plus.
