Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast-paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities.BuyerPermanentSalary dependent on experienceMonday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2pmMinworth - Site basedBuyerJob Description

• Lead strategic development of functional commodity space
• Day to day commercial management of the supplier base
• Negotiate prices and contract terms
• Manage RFQ to SOP, including NPI
• Manage supplier delivery issues /negotiate claims

BuyerEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• Previously worked within the manufacturing industry, automotive is highly desirable
• Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar
• Experienced working within a fast-paced environment
