TRIUS - House of Engineering is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Tactical Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be seconded to one of our esteemed clients, where you will be responsible for managing procurement activities, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize procurement processes and contribute to the overall success of projects.

What you will be doing?

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned categories, aligning with project requirements and organizational objectives.
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, fostering strong and collaborative relationships.
• Monitor market trends and innovations to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure procurement aligns with project specifications and timelines.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

What you will bring to the team?

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably within the offshore, maritime, or heavy industry sectors.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
