Business travel consultant

Business travel consultant - Required for this small independent TMC based in a great location in central London. They are looking for a Business travel consultant or senior business travel consultant to work from home. Ideally with galileo knowledge but they will cross train and will pay between £25,000 to £35,000 + benefits.Business travel consultants duties-To provide a first-class service to their clients.-To assist all clients with travel bookings, and to process this in an efficient and competent manner using Galileo.-Provide an excellent service via communications with customers and accuracy of bookings-Communicate with customers, whether this is by telephone, email or in person, in a professional and friendly manner. -Providing clients with suitable travel options and suggestions of the best way to meet their requirements.-Arranging all travel from flights, to car hire to hotels etc.-Be involved in the ticketing processes for all travel? checking interline/ticketing agreements and the BSP website.-Proactively maintaining relationships with clients at all times.-Processing responses to clients within the companies agreed service level agreements.Business travel consultants skills required-Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant is a must, 2 years plus -A good working knowledge of Galileo (Smart point), but they will cross train- A good communicator, well organised and used to working to tight deadlines while under pressure.-A positive and professional telephone manner.-Confident interacting with clients and suppliers on the telephone.-Maintain a professional & positive attitude when dealing with suppliers, customers and fellow colleagues.Additional information-Annual bonus based on company performance-25 days holidays-All equipment provided to work from home -Pension-Travel discounts If you are interested in the above role please call Duncan on quoting DT60699 or send your cv to
