  • Contract: Long-term supply (3 days per week)
  • Pay: £175 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Key Stages: KS5

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Business Teacher to teach BTEC Business Level 3 and BTEC Engineering (Unit 4: Applied Commercial and Quality Principles in Engineering) at a well-established sixth form in Birmingham. This part-time position (three days per week) offers the chance to work with motivated post-16 students, delivering engaging lessons that develop their understanding of business management, commercial practices, and quality principles in engineering.

The Candidate

You'll hold QTS or QTLS or be an ECT with strong knowledge of business and vocational education. Experience delivering BTEC courses-particularly Business or Engineering units-is highly desirable. You'll be confident teaching at KS5 level, well-organised, and capable of balancing theoretical content with practical, real-world applications. A collaborative approach and genuine passion for supporting student achievement are essential.
