Business Support Specialist - Commercial Vehicle

About the role

We are looking for aBusiness Support Specialistto be part of our Sales team, based in Hounslow / UxbridgeOffice.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

• Oversee delivery of projects, make arrangements for related activities and track progress to ensure on-time completion and customer satisfaction;
• Be the key point of contact between our customers, external partners and our internal teams;
• Work closely with the Sales Manager, Operations Manager and Programme Manager to ensure clients' requirements and product specifications are met;
• Coordinate resources and requests among the project team and liaise with colleagues locally, and from our headquarters in China to ensure smooth delivery of projects;
• Compile/present reports (written and verbally) to UK customers/partners and within our organisation, arranging/attending project meetings where required and documenting meeting minutes;
• Identify any risks or changes in project requirements/timing and ensure appropriate actions are followed-up and communicated;
• Ensure all processes are followed and necessary documents completed/filed in the database with project conclusion reviews carried out;
• Providing cover for Project Administrator on activities such as vehicle registrations and documentation when required;
• Other related activities and contingent assignments

Ideal candidate profile:

• Degree or certificate in Project Management
• Minimum 5 years project management experience
• Experience in automotive/transport industry or knowledge of electric vehicles or buses would be an advantage
• Good command of English is essential, both written and verbal
• Customer-focused
• Comfortable communicating with different levels of stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to cope with tight deadlines and pressure
• Good team player
• Proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills
• Computer knowledge and efficiency, including MS Office
• Experience with handling vehicle registrations would be an advantage
• Has right-to-work in the UK
