BPSS clearance: This post is subject to BPSS checks. You will therefore be required to consent to and comply with BPSS checking requirements prior to commencing in the post. The check involves verification of identity, nationality and immigration status, employment history (past 3 years) and a basic criminal record check.
DBS clearance: This post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Support Officer. This dynamic administrative role supports high profile work across multiple teams, including the Children and Families Legal Team, Complex Safeguarding Hub and Greater Manchester Police. You will provide administrative support to the team, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the service. This is a varied role, offering the chance to work with a diverse range of people and tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Providing accurate and timely administrative support, including responding to emails and managing files and documents.
- Organising and maintaining files and records, both electronic and physical.
- Handling sensitive documents and files with confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.
- Using multiple systems and applications confidently.
- Working independently while responding to direction from various teams.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as required by the team.
Full training and support will be provided.
The role is based across a number of sites but we will work with you to determine which is best. This is an office based role and hybrid working is not available for this specific role.
