To support our continued growth in Europe, we're looking for a Business Support Manager to join our team in Heerlen, the Netherlands . This is a high-impact role at the intersection of operational excellence, solution design, and engineering - perfect for someone who thrives on innovation, data-driven decision-making, and leading change.

What You Do On a Typical Day

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by overseeing the design, development, and implementation of automated and scalable operational solutions
• Start initiative projects including engineering, solution design and create business cases and drive successful implementations
• Collaborate closely with Data Analysts to interpret operational data, generate actionable insights, and translate them into practical process enhancements
• Leverage dashboards and reports to proactively identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization across departments
• Lead cross-functional projects to implement data-driven changes, improving productivity, operational efficiency, and service quality
• Oversee inventory control operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and the application of process automation where possible
• Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the team, fostering a culture of innovation and alignment with site goals
• Temporarily manage workforce planning team activities, lead the training department and oversee accurate and compliant workforce data entry in the Protime time registration system by managing the team responsible for system maintenance and updates

What You Need To Succeed At GXO

• Proven experience in continuous improvement, logistics engineering and solution design
• Prior experience in contract logistics is essential
• Good understanding of automation technologies and their application within a logistics environment
• Demonstrated people management skills, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams effectively
• Proven project management experience and a mindset focused on continuous improvement
• Fluent English and preferably native Dutch, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
