Business Support Manager

Our Building Services team is looking for a Business Support Manager to join the team on-site at one of our projects in London. The role involves providing administrative support to the BARL technical teams and ensuring contract compliance.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing all sub-contractor logbooks, including filing service records and permit documentation, and cross-referencing the CAFM system to ensure accurate recording.
- Managing site compliance documentation and issuing compliance reports.
- Managing and archiving building services certifications and inspection records (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing), ensuring timely evidence collection in line with the PPM Schedule.
- Handling the information handover process between internal project and operations teams (drawings, asset & task creation, RDS, and O&Ms).
- Administering site compliance reports and updating site RAG status based on compliance evidence.
- Liaising with administrators to book access to secure areas for engineers and contractors.
- Performing other reasonable tasks as required by the Project Director, Technical Support Manager, or Technical Manager.
- Organizing and scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Managing Document Controller(s).
- Proven proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to learn and adapt processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Organizing site documentation.
- Knowledge of CAFM systems, reports, and data interrogation.
- Reflecting Skanska's, the client's, and the customer's ethos, working positively and maintaining confidentiality.
- Understanding compliance documentation and the maintenance of sub-contractor logbooks.
- Understanding the commercial process for raising orders and linking them to the CAFM system.
- Adapting communication to all levels.
