JOB TITLE: Business Support Assistant

POST NUMBER: 014424

WEEKLY WORKING HOURS: 18.5 hours per week (Monday & Tuesday full days and Wednesday mornings).

SALARY RANGE: £25,583 to £26,403 pro rata for hours worked.

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fixed Term - 1 year.

LOCATION: Stevenage.

About the Role

Business Support Assistant - an exciting opportunity to join our Specialist Support team as a part time Business Support Officer. This role is the first point of contact for all services including Independent Living, Extra Care, Community Support and Care Connect 24 7. You will work as part of a team to provide comprehensive administrative support to a large, reactive and dynamic front line team.

  • Act as the first point of contact for our service, managing our email accounts and answering telephone enquiries from customers and internal teams.
  • Take minutes for team, resident and professional meetings.
  • Create and manage tenant and customer accounts.
  • Create purchase orders and process invoices.
  • Upload referrals for our servicing onto our Housing Management system.
  • Update and maintain customer and service records accurately in line with processes.
About You
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Experience in minute taking.
  • A flexible outlook and attitude to working in a customer focused team.
  • A dynamic, pro active and creative approach.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent record keeping and computer skills (competent in using Microsoft Office IT packages including Excel).
