Job Description

This is a permanent, full-time vacancy that will close in 2 days at 12:00 BST.

The Vacancy

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Third Party Administration (TPA) team as a Business Unit Support Apprentice. This role offers the chance to develop your administration skills while completing an SCQF Level 6 qualification in Digital Applications.

This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months. We expect that it will take approximately 12 months to complete the qualification. Upon completion, this program may lead to further employment opportunities within our firm.

Role Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative support to senior colleagues within the Business Unit.
  • Managing the team inbox and highlighting urgent matters.
  • Learning and working with our systems, including SharePoint.
  • Supporting tasks such as diary management, meeting arrangements, and minute-taking.
  • Ordering documents from external suppliers.
  • Processing expenses, arranging travel, and invoice recording.
  • Working with a mentor to reflect on your skills and progress.
  • Adhering to the firm's policies, including Information Security standards.

  • Secondary education with a pass in Maths at National 5 Level.
  • Good IT skills, especially MS Office applications, or enthusiasm to learn.
