JOB TITLE: Business Readiness & Implementation Senior Manager - Mass Affluent

LOCATION(S): Hove, Edinburgh or Leeds

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days per week) in one of our office hubs mentioned above

About this opportunity

A Business implementation expert is a proactive, hands-on individual who is passionate about designing and delivering change that will bring the business to the next level. They will have the customer and the colleague at the heart of all they do and ensure any changes are successfully adopted. A natural relationship-builder, they will engage stakeholders at all levels, documenting potential impacts and agreeing on strategies to mitigate issues. They are also able to produce necessary communication and training materials to support colleagues and/or customers.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead the design and execution of transformation programmes aligned to the UKPB Target Operating Model, focusing on process simplification and modernisation of technology platforms;

  • Understand the end-to-end Customer & Colleague journey at each level, map these using Group Tools (Figma), and identify issues, failure points, and sub-optimal areas;

  • Identify significant Business Problems and deliver improvements to eradicate them, transforming the customer and colleague experience;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including propositions, customer delivery, and technology to identify and remove friction points in onboarding, servicing, and product delivery;

  • Champion digital enablement and automation using group strategic tools;

  • Translate strategic goals into actionable workstreams, ensuring alignment with the UKPB Target State;

  • Engage with collaborators across Private Banking, Mass Affluent, and partner platforms to ensure cohesive delivery and adoption of change;

  • Monitor and report on progress, risks, and outcomes, ensuring delivery against milestones and key metrics;

  • Take responsibility for personal and team development, building a strong team aligned to common outcomes.

What we're looking for:
  • Change Management: Experience leading transformation programmes focusing on process simplification and technology modernization;

  • Customer and Colleague Focus: Ability to map and understand end-to-end journeys to identify issues;

  • Problem-Solving: Skill in identifying business problems and delivering impactful improvements;

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, document impacts, and strategize mitigation;

  • Digital Enablement and Automation: Experience championing digital tools and automation to improve processes.
