THE ROLE:

The Business Operations Manageris responsible forthe management and day-to-day operation of Genius Sports' LondonHQ, ensuring it provides a world-class environment for employees, customers,partnersand executives.This is a leadership role that combines workplace operations, facilities management, executive support, budgetmanagementand business continuity. The roleis responsible forensuring the officeoperatesefficiently,safelyand professionally whilst supporting the evolving needs of a growing globalbusiness.

The rolewill coordinate executive meetings, customereventsand workplace initiatives, whilstleadingthe Office Assistant and managing suppliers, contracts, workplaceservicesand operational budgets.The role will play a critical part in the continued expansion of the London headquarters, including future building expansion, workplacestrategyand integration ofadditionalbusiness units.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the LondonHQ, ensuring a safe,efficientand exceptional workplace experience for employees,customersand visitors
  • Line manage and develop the Office Assistant, providing leadership, direction and oversight of dailyoffice activities and checks
  • Manage all workplace services including reception, hospitality, cleaning, catering, security, mail, office supplies, wastemanagementand facilities maintenance
  • Develop and continuously improve workplace standards,processesand employee experience, especially around onboarding and engagement
  • Manage relationships with landlords, managing agents, building management and external suppliers
  • Own facilities contracts, service levelagreementsand supplier performance, ensuring value for money and high service standards
  • Plan and coordinate office refurbishments, workplace improvements, maintenanceprogrammes, office moves and future building expansion projects
  • Lead workplace space planning, seatingstrategyand officeutilisationto support changing business requirements
  • Manage operational budgets for the London office, including forecasting,purchasing, supplier payments and cost control
  • Negotiate supplier contracts andidentifyopportunities for operational efficiencies
  • Coordinatethe space forBoard meetings, customer visits, investormeetingsand other executive events hostedat the HQ
  • Assistwiththe planning, design and delivery of office fit-outs, refurbishments, workplaceimprovementsand expansion projects
  • Partner with the Executive Assistant teamfor ad hocsupport for visiting leaders
  • Lead the London office onboardingand inductionexperience
  • Design andorganiseemployee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, officecelebrationsand events
  • Lead oninternal communications relating toworkplace processes andinitiaitves
  • Own the implementation and ongoing management of Health & Safety requirements across the London office, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards
  • Updateworkplace risk assessmentsand records asrequired
  • Coordinate workplace incidents,investigationsand corrective actions, ensuring lessons learned are implemented
  • Maintainand coordinateemergency response procedures for the London office
  • Undertakeadditionalprojects and responsibilities asrequired

  • Comfortable being fully office-based in London 5 days per week
