Business Lecturer

Job Title: Business LecturerLocation: West LondonWorking Pattern: Full-Time or Part-TimePay Rate: £40/hr

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Lecturer to join a reputable college in West London on either a full-time or part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire learners pursuing qualifications in Business and related disciplines.

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Business courses (e.g., BTEC, A-Level Business, T Levels, or other vocational/business-related qualifications)
• Plan engaging and interactive lessons aligned with curriculum and awarding body requirements
• Support learners in developing knowledge across key business areas such as marketing, finance, management, and entrepreneurship
• Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on assignments and coursework
• Monitor learner progress and implement targeted support where required
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes
• Support learners in progressing to employment, apprenticeships, or higher education in business-related fields

• Relevant qualification in Business, Management, or a related field (Degree preferred)
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
• Experience teaching Business in a Further Education or similar setting
• Strong subject knowledge across core business disciplines
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate and support learners from a range of backgrounds
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
