Job Description

The GS1 Global Migration to 2D Internship offers the flexibility to work from our Brussels office, in a hybrid arrangement, or remotely within European time zones.

How to apply

If interested, email with your cover letter (max. 1 page) and CV (max. 2 pages). Subject line: GS1 Global Migration to 2D internship

Who are we

GS1 is a neutral, not-for-profit organisation that develops and maintains standards that improve the efficiency, safety and visibility of supply chains across physical and digital channels in 25 industry sectors. Our organisation is comprised of local Member Organisations in 120 countries, with 1.5 million user companies.

Driven by the rapidly increasing demand for more information about retail products, industry has set a goal that by the end of 2027, all retail point of sale systems should be capable of reading and processing a defined set of 2D barcodes with GS1 standards. In parallel, many brand owners are already exploring and implementing the most appropriate 2D barcode to address priority use cases for their products. GS1's Global Migration to 2D Programme team is working to support industry, via our Member Organisations, to achieve these goals. For more information refer to:
