BI Manager (Commercial Analytics)

Amsterdam

Up to 85k annually

Company

This company is seeking a BI & Commercial Analytics Manager to join their commercial team in Amsterdam.


The Role

  • Lead the Business Performance stream of a large-scale Global Data Lake Program.
  • Deliver actionable insights and executive-ready presentations for meetings, townhalls, and market visits.
  • Integrate business performance analytics into commercial decision-making routines and monthly executive reporting.
  • Own and continuously improve the global Power BI reporting environment.
  • Coach and develop BI analysts, promoting data literacy and analytics maturity across the business.
  • Manage strategic external data partnerships with Nielsen and Circana, including contract negotiations.
  • Launch strategic analytics pilots, including AI-driven solutions, with test markets.
  • Influence senior stakeholders with impactful storytelling and data-driven business recommendations.


Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar analytics, insights, or business intelligence role
  • FMCG experience
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, with experience managing or developing dashboards.
  • Experience working with Nielsen/Circana and SAP data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across functions and cultures.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior analysts.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
