Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst will join our growing team to develop and deliver effective reports and dashboards that empower our customers to make data driven decisions.
Responsibilities- Develop reports and dashboards to streamline manual processes and automate key business functions.
- Use ETL processes to transform data into clean, reportable formats.
- Leverage our data warehouses to provide data driven insights that support informed decisions.
- Present regular updates on key organisational metrics and KPIs.
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure reports and dashboards meet stakeholder needs and quality standards.
- Support transition of user created data visualisation solutions into enterprise standard platforms.
- Adhere to team procedures and best practices, including coding and build standards, to deliver high readability, maintainable outputs.
- Refine and optimise existing data workflows to improve efficiency, resilience, and readiness for future enhancements.
- Degree level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Highly organised self starter with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of data quality principles.
- Hands on experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Looker Studio.
- Experience designing and developing reports and dashboards.
- High proficiency in MicrosoftExcel.
- SQL proficiency for querying and manipulating large datasets (desirable).
- Knowledge and experience of ETL platforms (e.g., Alteryx) (desirable).
- Familiarity with modern development practices, Agile methodologies, source control, and coding standards (desirable).
