We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Business Improvement Graduate to join Amey Complex Facilities Division.
The salary is £28,500 per annum
Positions Available: 2
Location - You will be local to North West, Midlands, Yorkshire or South Wales.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office-based days with home working. You will also be required to travel to operational sites for meetings.
Start date is September 2026

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious graduate to join our Complex Facilities Graduate Programme, designed to develop the next generation of leaders in our business.
Purpose of the RoleAs a Graduate Business Improvement Graduate, you will support initiatives that improve operational efficiency, enhance service delivery, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Working with teams and stakeholders, you'll help identify opportunities, implement changes, and measure impact across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse and improve processes: Collect data, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical solutions aligned with business goals.
- Support project delivery: Assist in planning and implementing improvement projects, including workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor and report performance: Develop dashboards, track KPIs, and prepare reports to demonstrate progress and outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement: Promote innovation and best practices, contributing ideas that drive operational excellence.
- Assist with transformation programmes: Support contract mobilisation and change initiatives using Lean or similar methodologies.
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Construction or Engineering)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
