Now we're looking for a B2C Business Development Specialist to help us deliver that promise in the Dutch Market by growing our community of freelancers. This is a high-impact role where strategy meets execution, and your ability to connect, advise, and close will help businesses go further, faster.
In this role, you'll:
- Drive outbound prospecting and lead generation to identify independent professionals who could benefit from our services.
- Manage the full sales cycle for B2C clients, from first contact to signed contract, ensuring a smooth and engaging client experience.
- Present our solutions in a clear, value-driven way, handling objections with empathy and precision.
- Identify client challenges and provide tailored solutions that align with their operational and strategic objectives.
- Represent Hightekers at industry events (both online and in-person) to build awareness and expand your network.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Customer Success to ensure consistency across the customer journey.
- Track performance using CRM tools to bring insights to the team, enabling continuous improvement of our strategy and outreach.
- Represent Hightekers' values in every interaction, building trust with consultants as they make big decisions about their careers.
Who You Are
You're not just skilled at sales-you're a trusted advisor who thrives on human connection and smart solutions. You understand how business works and know how to tailor your approach to meet the needs of every client.
You bring:
- 1-3 years of experience in B2C Sales, recruitment, or consultative selling.
- A proven ability to build relationships and close deals with freelancers or independent workers.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Dutch.
- Confidence in handling objections and explaining value with clarity and patience.
- A data-driven mindset and proficiency with CRM tools.
- A proactive, results-oriented, and improvement-driven attitude.
Bonus if:
- You've worked in HR Tech, Freelance Platforms, and 360 Recruitment
- You are familiar with employment models like EOR or Contractor Management.
- You bring insight into the needs and challenges of independent professionals.
