Business Development Representative

Business Development Representative at Mimecast in London. The role is hybrid, based in the London office, and is focused on driving company growth by generating and qualifying leads, working with partners, and collaborating with sales teams.
Responsibilities- Conduct high volume outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media to identify and qualify leads.
- Follow up on marketing generated leads to assess fit and potential for Mimecast's solutions.
- Work closely with reseller partners to uncover joint opportunities and expand reach.
- Profile target accounts, identify decision makers and stakeholders, and tailor outreach.
- Engage prospects in initial needs analysis to assess alignment with Mimecast's solutions.
- Articulate Mimecast's value proposition to secure meetings and hand off qualified leads to Account Executives.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and accurately track all activities in the CRM system.
- Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and progress opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and product developments to refine outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing teams, and Channel Partners for smooth lead handoff and strategic alignment.
- Self starter with a sales driven mindset and a drive to exceed targets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and articulate value propositions.
- Resilient and adaptable, able to handle rejection and adjust messaging based on feedback.
- Tech savvy with familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, and automation platforms.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with strong time management skills.
- Analytical ability to conduct needs analysis and qualify opportunities.
- Committed to continuous learning and staying updated on product developments and industry trends.
- Team orientated with strong collaboration skills across Sales, Marketing, and Channel Partners.
The on target earnings (OTE) range for this position is £40,000-£66,000 (OTE) plus benefits.
