Job Description
About the job

We are looking for a Founding BDR. Someone experienced to do lead generation, cold calling, book meetings and handle complex objections. The role could suit an agency recruiter who is looking to pivot in-house to a BDR role.

About Curvestone

Curvestone AI automates multi-step, document-heavy processes with the precision, auditability, and security demanded by regulated industries - unlocking speed and accuracy that were previously out of reach.

We partner with compliance officers, legal ops leaders, and financial services innovators who rely on us as critical infrastructure. For them, we're not a "nice-to-have" experiment; we're business-critical.

We're a high-growth company headquartered in Holborn, London, backed by a £3m seed round. Our team combines deep expertise in AI, automation, and enterprise transformation - united by a mission to reinvent how regulated industries work.

Now, we're scaling our go-to-market organisation and expanding into new regulated verticals.

This is a chance to help build category-defining technology, see your work adopted by leading organisations in law, finance, and compliance, and join Curvestone at a formative stage of our growth.

The Opportunity

You'll join as a foundational member of Curvestone's sales team, helping to build our outbound motion in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

This role is broader than a classic BDR position. You won't simply be handed a list of leads - you'll help determine who we target, why, and how.

Your work will combine lead sourcing, targeted outreach, early discovery conversations, and strategic communication with senior stakeholders across regulated industries.

You'll learn directly from experienced operators in sales, product, and AI - and help shape the systems, processes, and playbooks that define how Curvestone goes to market.

If you want to accelerate your sales career while working on complex, meaningful problems, this is the right time to join.

What You'll Do

  • Source & prioritise leads: Identify accounts within our ICP using market signals, public data, and persona insights.

  • Run outbound campaigns: Contact senior compliance, ops, and legal leaders via email, phone, and LinkedIn - tailoring messaging to their workflow challenges. Probably 50-70 dials and speaking with 10 contacts per day

  • Qualify prospects: Conduct early discovery conversations, understand their processes, and assess Curvestone's fit.

  • Convert to SQLs: Book and qualify meetings that convert to opportunities, providing AEs with strong context for follow-up.

  • Become a product & workflow expert: Learn how onboarding, compliance, and review workflows operate - and explain how Curvestone improves them.

  • Collaborate internally: Work across Sales, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Product to refine messaging and targeting.

  • Maintain CRM precision: Log activity, track progress, and keep data clean to support a data-driven sales motion.

  • 20 SQLs per quarter
