About the role

The Mid and West Wales Safeguarding Board for children and adults, CYSUR and CWMPAS, is looking for a Business Development Officer to support the delivery and implementation of the Regional Safeguarding Board's annual strategic plan.

We are seeking someone with excellent administrative and business management skills, capable of working independently and on their own initiative. The ideal candidate will also have excellent technical and IT skills, including competence in the use of various software packages such as advanced Excel and Microsoft Word.

Your duties will include developing and managing the Board's website and communication platforms, as well as collating and analyzing performance data. You will play a key role in coordinating and managing the regional policy and training groups and associated work programmes, as well as supporting the coordination of individual case reviews. The role also offers opportunities for bespoke project work to support the Board's ongoing development.

You will join an established and experienced team and report to the Regional Safeguarding Board Manager.

You will be based in the Safeguarding Board's Business Unit in Haverfordwest; however, a location in any part of the Mid and West Wales region will be considered, and remote/hybrid arrangements can be accommodated.
