Role Information

As a Business Development Officer, you will support the Centre Manager by driving learner starts and enrollments, balancing commercial and administrative activities. Key qualities include rapport-building, attention to detail, positivity, and effective communication.

Responsibilities
  • Develop links with external stakeholders to generate enrollments.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify training opportunities.
  • Recruitment activities including advertising, pre-screening, and interviewing.
  • Update vacancy databases and liaise with stakeholders on enrolments.
  • Organize open days for military careers and manage employer surveys.
  • Enroll learners, manage applications, and conduct interviews.
  • Support communication with students and external parties.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners.
  • Record performance data and report on activities and outcomes.
  • Drive performance against budgets and targets.
Administration and Generic Duties
  • Process and file documentation accurately.
  • Liaise with administration for employer documentation and health & safety checks.
  • Update employer databases and manage documentation processes.
  • Provide reports and support communication across teams.
  • Act as first point of contact for calls and general administration.
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with policies.
Essential Criteria
  • Experience in sales
  • Customer service skills
  • Interest or knowledge of the military is beneficial
