Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand our client base, and strengthen long-term partnerships. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the strategic expansion of Shamrock Security Limited within Dublin and nationwide.

Requirements Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the security services sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and tenders
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations and management teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
  • Represent the company at networking events, meetings, and industry functions
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems
  • Support contract renewals and upselling of additional services
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within security services or facilities management
  • Strong knowledge of the Irish market, particularly Dublin and surrounding areas
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Full, clean driving licence (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
