Scott Logic was founded in Newcastle in 2005 by then Lehman Brothers' Head of Fixed Income Analytics, Gary Scott, with a vision to bring cutting-edge financial services consultancy to his native North East. We're proud to still be headquartered in the city, whilst we've expanded across the UK.

We're based in the wonderful, eco-friendly Lumen building as part of the Newcastle Helix community, with fantastic views of the city from our sixth-floor offices. Here, you'll find over 100 technologists of varying disciplines working together on a range of big, interesting software projects. You'll also find a community-driven, vibrant culture. From table football and Mario Kart to bowling nights and seasonal parties - there's always something to get involved in.

This Lead Data Engineer role will contribute to helping our clients get the best out of their data, setting technical direction and advising them on how to solve tough engineering challenges.
