Our success means we are looking for a passionate target-driven individual to develop our partnerships with new and existing clients. We are particularly looking for someone to support us in developing new business and existing clients across the UK and Ireland with Salesforce, with a particular focus on fundraising and marketing.
This role will require frequent travel within the UK, and travel to Ireland on an occasional basis. The role can be office-based, at our offices in Hammersmith, hybrid, or home-based. The candidate will be expected to live in or near London, and spend at least a day per week in London for internal meetings, client visits, or developing relationships with Salesforce staff and third party consultants.
New Business Sales:
- Deliver the individual targets agreed as part of the overall sales team targets for the year.
- Target sales and generate leads with a focus on the UK and Ireland.
- Focus on new sales opportunities, by networking across the charity sector, third party charity consultants and attending events.
- Develop relationships with country and product-specific Account Executives at Salesforce.
- Develop proposal content and lead proposal teams.
Account Management:
- Develop existing specified clients located in the UK and Ireland.
- In conjunction with the Support Manager, manage existing assigned accounts including support plan renewals and retainers.
Strategy and Marketing:
- Contribute to Giveclarity's overall sales and marketing strategy development, with a geographical focus on the UK and Ireland.
- Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing.
- Attend Giveclarity managed events and third-party events.
- Contribute to Giveclarity's product strategy.
- Extensive experience in a business development role for technology consultancy services
- A strong desire to work with and/or experience of working with charities
- Evidence of exceeding annual targets of over £1,000,000
- Experience of generating and managing sales leads
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with senior level stakeholders
- Technical aptitude to communicate the business value for nonprofit organisations of Salesforce products
- Ability to work collaboratively in small cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent presentation skills
- Expert in Microsoft Products (SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Experience of selling Non Profit Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and/or Agentforce
- Experience of working effectively with Salesforce in a partner capacity
- Experience of market analysis and business planning
- Experience of working at a medium to large non-profit organisation in a fundraising and/or marketing capacity
- Experience of using and selling fundraising CRM solutions
- Experience of using and selling marketing automation tools
- Verbal and written communication skills in market-specific languages.
Competitive salary and commission depending on experience.
