Costar Group - Business Development Consultant, West London (patch: Richmond, Twickenham, Uxbridge, Hayes, Slough, OnTheMarket). CoStar Group is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. OnTheMarket (OTM) was acquired by CoStar Group in December 2023 to develop the UK's number 1 Residential Property portal. This role sits within the OnTheMarket product family, supporting home buyers, sellers, agents and developers with best-in-class written content, imagery, design and functionality.

• Develop business growth by sourcing, generating, and building new business for OTM.
• Understand the OTM suite of products and how they meet customers' needs.
• Identify new sales leads and contact potential clients.
• Meet with new and existing clients in person.
• Negotiate business terms with new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with senior team members to manage risks and communicate results.
• Leverage excellent communication skills and product knowledge to pitch to new and prospective clients.
• Represent OTM by hosting and attending industry events and networking with property professionals in the market.

• Proven track record of sales success; experience selling online marketplaces, portals, and similar B2B environments is preferred. Other sales backgrounds will be considered.
• Ability to maintain and grow client relationships over the medium and long term with excellent service.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and objection-handling skills with the confidence to present complex proposals.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work to metrics in an intelligent, effective manner.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience; consultative selling style with account management techniques to grow accounts over time.
• Enjoy building relationships with clients and helping them solve problems.
• Ability to navigate a large organization to identify decision-makers, influencers, and blockers and align them.
• Current and valid driver's license; satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
