Location: Onsite - London
Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Overtime when required
Pay Rate: $22/- per hour
As a Subject Matter Expert, the business centre clerk will support internal clients, including providing Canada Post mail, courier support, scanning, assisting in Ops related roles, and special client projects. This self motivated individual will have excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, strong time management, and the ability to work flexible hours and from other locations when required. Reporting to the Team Lead/Manager, the clerk collaborates with all internal clients and is responsible for the overall in office client experience.
Skills:- 3+ years of relevant experience in office services.
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Engagement in the promotion & adoption of digital tools and strategies.
- Ability to work in a deadline oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma required or 5 years of office service experience.
- Required to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to handle regular interruptions due to employee requests.
- Ability to manage changes in deadlines, tight schedules, and occasional last minute notifications.
Business Centre Responsibilities (50%)
- Provide internal/external clients with enhanced customer care, responding to issues and providing information.
- Check the Business Centre database (Premier Office) regularly for client requests.
- Monitor and forward incoming Right faxes via PwC fax Services email inbox.
- Issue and maintain inventory of daily security visitor passes and send a list of delinquent users to the Facility team.
- Email scanned mail/registered mail confirmation receipts to clients as needed.
- Adaptability to work within tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility.
- Take on a "Buddy" role for new hires and summer students.
- Notify clients of rush inbound urgent packages and envelopes.
- Provide backup support to the Copy Centre.
Shipping Responsibilities (40%)
- Receive, check, and log inbound courier packages in Premier Office.
- Inspect and verify incoming courier deliveries.
- Use Premier Office database to check outgoing couriers and update with tracking information.
- Process same day & overnight pick up as requested by clients via the shipping system.
- Provide clients with tracking information on courier packages.
- Log and identify incorrect shipments and arrange returns via various carriers.
- Monitor carrier delays and update delivery addresses and phone numbers to expedite deliveries.
- Process outbound domestic and international carriers using online shipping systems.
- Process inter office domestic mail to Canadian offices three times per week.
Other Tasks and Responsibilities as Assigned (10%)
- Liaise with the Business Centre Team Lead/Manager regularly to ensure customer service objectives are met in line with Ops vision.
- Provide tax seasonal support, IT support, minor project management, health & safety coordination, and miscellaneous assistance as required.
- Serve as backup for other team members and contribute to other team activities.
- Provide support for reception coverage, coordination of Premier Office tasks, and service maintenance.
- Assist with other firm and business projects, initiatives or general administrative duties.
