Business Central Functional Finance Consultant Contract | Hybrid | Greater Dublin Area

A well-established organisation is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Finance Consultant to support the final stages of a major Business Central programme and help drive a successful transition into business-as-usual operations.

This is a hands-on functional role focused on user support, testing, training and go-live activities rather than development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide user training and adoption support
• Assist with go-live and hypercare activities
• Investigate, triage and resolve system issues
• Configure and maintain roles, permissions and approval workflows
• Work closely with business users to ensure a smooth transition into BAU support

Experience Required

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Previous involvement in implementations, go-lives, upgrades or transformation projects
• Good understanding of Finance processes within Business Central
• Experience across additional functional areas such as Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Warehousing or Manufacturing
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience supporting end users in a production environment

Desirable

• Microsoft certifications (MB-800 or equivalent)
• NAV experience
• Experience within manufacturing, distribution, engineering or similar operational environments
• Exposure to Power BI, Microsoft Fabric or Dynamics CRM
